As we all know the boating business is changed during the Corona crisis.
A lot of yacht owners put the registration of their boat on a pause with the argument “I will do it when the crisis is over”
Do we consider that wise?
No!
And i will explain you why!
If everybody will start arranging their yacht registration the same moment the crisis is over we will have the situation that a hughe number of registration clients needs to be served in the same short period of time.
In practise it will be impossible for the nautical authorities to process such amount of registration requests all in the same period and also in time. There will be delays and waiting lists.
There will queues of clients waiting for their yacht registration as everybody wants to start sailing directly at once after the crisis.
It will be more wise that you start requesting your new or renewed registration right away now so all will be ready and done the moment the crisis is over and everybody wants to start enjoying their freedom on board of their yacht.
